who wish to combine their holiday in Thailand with the removal of their
bothersome uterine fibroids. Uterine Fibroid Embolization(UFE) is a
non-surgical, safe and effective procedure to remove uterine fibroids that
is performed by an interventional radiologist (a physician who performs
procedures using tiny instruments that are threaded through the blood
vessels and guided by X-rays).
The advantages of Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE):

Preparation:
Cease aspirin, herbal medicines, vitamin A or any anti-inflammatory
medications 10 days prior to surgery to prevent bleeding and stop smoking as
long as possible prior to surgery.

Patient Eligibility:
The package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients. Patients with
cases such as asymptomatic fibroids , Allergy to radiographic contrast ,
Suspicion of cancer , Renal insufficiency (serum creatinine > 2 mg/dL) Infection
or pelvic inflammatory disease, Pregnant women , Women who wish to have more
children, Blood or bleeding disorders and those with underlying medical
conditions such as HIV, Uncontrolled Diabetes, Hepatitis B, etc. will not
qualify for this package.
