Side Effects: Immediately after surgery, you may experience some difficulty in
passing urine; likely to have some pain, swelling and bruising in the abdomen
and groin area; some scrotal swelling for a few days
Recovery: Begin easy activities like walking soon as you are comfortable
Strenuous Activities: 4-6 weeks (avoid heavy lifting)
Preparation:
Before the operation, the patient will have blood and urine collected for
testing. X rays are taken of the affected area. Patients may be asked to
temporarily discontinue certain medications. The day of the operation, patients
should not eat or drink anything. Bowel preparation will also be necessary.

The package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients. Patients with
the following conditions are considered to be complex or high risk cases and
will not qualify for the package:
